How the Competition Company Works

The Dancers Unite Competition Company is a group of competitive dancers who compete regionally and nationally.  The company consists of a number of teams divided by age and level. Through competing, members learn wonderful lessons on hard work, teamwork and sportsmanship.

The Dancers Unite Competition Company has select regional competitions and one national competition that are mandatory for all Company Members.  Company Members are given a schedule at the beginning of the year, and the directors need to be notified of any date conflicts immediately.

Competition Company Members have weekly classes to rehearse routines as well as work on the technical aspects of their dancing. Company Members are expected to have great attendance to these dance classes and give 100% effort during these dance classes. Practices start in August and run through the end of the school year.

Additionally, for those who love the dance aspect of cheerleading, we have a separate All Star Pom Squad that competes in cheerleading/dance competitions.
